Day at the DMZ part 3

One of the rules was you couldn't make any hand gestures or point to the North Koreans. Well if you know how mom talks she LOVES to use her hands and point and they said that was a sure way to get shot! So I made mamma sit on her hands or hold them behind her back the entire time! We then walked through the Freedom building to the back door where we stood face to face with North Korea! We could visibly see the North Korean soldiers. Then we walked into the little buildings in front of us and there was a table that was on the 38th parallel and if you walked around the table then you were in North Korea! So mom and I can now say we were in North Korea :) We also had our picture taken with a R.O.K soldier (South Korean soldier). We were told not to get too close or else something not too good would happen to us! Then we went to check point 3 where the ax murder happened and we also saw the bridge of no return! All in all we had a good day at the DMZ. So much happened that we'll have to tell you about it when we return!
